LECTURER
Dr. Marshall H. Kaplan is a leading expert on the acquisition of research funding and
government contracts. He has over 30 years of experience in university teaching, research,
and administration, and has acted as a funding advisor and mentor to many major
universities. Dr. Kaplan has a long record of producing successful results and strategies.
He has mentored individual young research faculty and managed the pursuit of several
multi-million-dollar centers of research excellence. In fact, he was the executive director of
a research institute and is the author of a text on acquiring large government contracts.
Finally, Dr. Kaplan is the recipient of awards for research and professional contributions. He holds advanced degrees in engineering from MIT and Stanford University.
